Day 1 - Tulfarris Golf Club
Meet with Tailor-Made Golf Tour representative or chauffeur on arrival at Dublin Airport. Transfer to Tulfarris on the Blessington Lakes in the heart of beautiful County Wicklow. Play Tulfarris golf course, a Patrick Merrigan design set on three penisulas overlooking the lakes. Range of accommodation venues throughout County Wicklow.
Day 2 - Rathsallagh Golf Club
In western County Wicklow, close to the village of Dunlavin is Rathsallagh Golf Club. Part of a 530-acre estate with its own 4**** country house hotel, Rathsallagh golf club is beautifully laid out on undulating terrain and provides an excellent test of golf.
Day 3 - Mount Wolseley
Just outside County Wicklow, in neighbouring Carlow, Mount Wolseley is another fine golf course designed by Christy O'Connor Jnr, enhanced by the use of the very latest international standards. Also set in the grounds of an old estate and including an on-site hotel converted from the old estate house.
Day 4 - Druids Glen
Often referred to as the Augusta of Europe, Druids Glen is another recent parkland creation nestled between the Irish sea and the stunning Wicklow mountains, just 30 minutes south of Dublin. The rugged and varied landscape has been used to create 18 testing holes, many overe water. Each hole encompasses a distinct Irish flavour including the Druids Altar on the 12th hole.
Day 5 - Druids Heath
Thesecond and newer of the two courses at Druids Glen provides a thrilling and unique experience. Maintained to tour standards, the golf course is carved from natural landscape with rolling fairways, natural rock quarries, lakes, streams, trees, gorse, pot-bunkers and a testing sea breeze.
Day 6 - Powerscourt Golf Club
Powercourt Estate is situated just outside the town of Enniskerry. The 1,000 acre grounds, landscaped gardens and magnificent Poerscourt House have long been a popular visitor destination. Two golf courses, the East and West, have recently been added within the grounds.
Day 7 - The European Club
South of Dublin, overlooking the Irish Sea, this recent (1987) addition to the Irish Links menu is a remarkable golf links. Designed, owned and operated by Pat Ruddy (Ireland's answer to Pete Dye) and his family, the European features exciting links golf through magnificent dunes with dramatic views of the Irish Sea. The greens are superbly contoured and the 13th green is 135 yards long!.
Day 8 - Departure from Dublin Airport
Transfer to airport for onward departure.
