CORK GOLF CLUB
One of Ireland's longest established clubs. Cork is also one of the finest golf courses in the land. Located by the estuary of the River Lee as it enters Cork Harbour, Cork is more heathland terrain and includes a stretch of holes araound an old quarry. The River is aso a feature, especially on the long par-4 fourth hole that is considered one of the best holes in Ireland. Little Island, as the club is also sometimes called, is just 5 mioles from Cork City and Fota Island is three miles away, providing a contrast between the older, established courses and the newer resort style designs. Highly recommended for golfers of all abilities .
