Royal Belfast Golf Course

Running along the southern shore of Belfast Lough the course at Royal Belfast Golf Club is a Harry Colt design opened for play in 1926. Well bunkered greens and fairways defend the course together with the wind that generally blows off the lough. Four of the par-3's are over 175 yards and there are several challenging long holes, including the first couple. The charming old clubhouse is full of history and meorabilia - Royal belfast is the oldest golf club in Ireland.
