Day 1 - Dromoland Castle
Meet with Tailor-Made Golf Tour representative or chauffeur on arrival. Quick transfer to Dromoland Castle. Play Dromoland - the fastest greens in Ireland. Transfer to Lahinch for overnight stay. Optionally stay in Ennis, the principal town of County Clare.
Day 2 - Lahinch Golf Club
An Alistair McKenzie masterpiece on the Atlantic coast. Famous for the Klondyke - a grass wall that must be carried on the par-5 4th hole - and the par-3 Dell (a completely blind tee-shot to a bowl shaped green - Lahinch provides many more testing golf holes in a spectacular setting. Overnight Lahinch.
Day 3 - Doonbeg Golf Club
Down the road to the marvellous Greg Norman design at Doonbeg - reputed to be the originally proposed site for Lahinch. Play Doonbeg. Across the mouth of the Shannon by ferry to Killarney.
Day 4 - Ballybunion Golf Club
Play the most visited course in Ireland. The Old course at Ballybunion is one of the most famous links in the world. Many golfers rate the Cashen course as a better golf course, but like St. Andrews the history and aura of the Old course cannot be surpassed. A round on both courses is included in this tour. Return to Killarney.
Day 5 - Tralee Golf Club
Arnold Palmer's first European design, the Tralee links on the shores of Barrow Bay. The inward half has always been regarded as one of the finest nine holes in the world. 2004 has seen the introduction of major upgrades to the outward half - Tralee can now legitimately claim to be one of the very best golf courses in Ireland. Return to Killarney.
Day 6 - Killarney Golf Club
Play both of the excellent courses at Killarney - the testing Kileen and the more scenic Mahony's point. Continue to Kenmare for overnight stay. If preferred the accommodation change to Kenmare can be omitted and 6 nights spent in Killarney.
Day 7 - Ring of Kerry Golf Club
This new course with terrific views of Kenmare Bay. The course is a challenging parkland style course providing major elevation changes. The greens are excellent and add to the challenge. Return to Kenmare.
Day 8 - Waterville Golf Club
Fabulous drive from Kenmare along the south coast of the Iveragh peninsula to Waterville. Play Waterville, the dream of an Irish-American named John A. Mulcahy and a terrific golf links. Return to Kenmare.
Day 9 - Old Head of Kinsale
The most spectacular golf course on planet Earth! Play the Old Head, sample some of the culinary delights of the town of Kinsale and continue to the wonderful city of Cork. Optionally, accommodation can be taken in Kinsale, a picturesque harbour resort, rather than Cork City.
Day 10 - Fota Island Golf Club
Just outside Cork city, Fota Island is another course to have hosted the Irish Open (2001 & 2002). Return to Cork city.
Day 11 - Adare Golf Club
The final day - leave Cork for the 90 minute journey to Adare. Play Adare golf club in the grounds of Adare Manor. Overnight Adare.
Day 12 - Departure from Shannon Airport
Transfer (45 minutes) to Shannon Airport for onward departure.
