The Heritage Golf Course

The Heritage Challenge that officially opened this newest golf course in Ireland was a fourball consisting of it's co-designer Severiano Bellesteros together with Padraig Harrington, John Daly and Vijay Singh. No expense was spared in the construction of this golf course, part of an ambitious lifestyle project that includes a luxury hotel, residential accommodation and a palatial clubhouse. Although on naturally draining limestone land, The Heritage golf course includes miles of drains and storm-drains to cope with even the worst of Irish weather. The result is an immaculate golf course always maintained in top-class condition.
The Heritage Course Description
The course itself is built around five lakes and a river that bring water into play on 10 holes. Looking from the magnificent clubhouse the challenge is evident, a large lake, almost river like, extends away out the course, separating the ninth and eighteenth fairways that run perilously close to the waters edge.
