Ballyliffin Glashedy
A links course of modern design, the Glashedy Links features narrow fairways, raised greens and significant elevation changes. There are many cleverly designed hazards to trap the unwitting golfer. Hosted the 2018 Irish Open to high praise from the top European golfers. Together with the Old Links, Ballyliffin is simply unmissable.
Ballyliffin Old
It was christened 'the Dornoch of Ireland' and for years golfers in the know regarded Ballyliffin as the ultimate hidden gem. The setting is unsurpassed and the quality of the terrain so perfect for golf that those who accidentally stumbled across Ballyliffin felt compelled to speak of it in whispers.
County Sligo
County Sligo Golf Club is one of Ireland's great Championship Links located on the Rosses Point peninsula west of Sligo town. Established in 1894, the present Championship links was designed in 1927 by the famous golfing architect, Harry S. Colt, with a variety of holes to create a test for the very best golfers.
Donegal
It is hard to compete with Ballyliffin, Sandy Hills and Carne, but Donegal (also known as Murvagh) certainly does. A massive links (7,300 yard from the tips) isolated between a forest and the wild Atlantic, Donegal is a beguiling challenge - the peace and serenity belying the daunting nature of another Hackett links.
Lough Erne
Lough Erne championship golf course by Nick Faldo. It is the centrepiece of luxury resort near Enniskillen town, sandwiched between Upper Lough Erne and smaller Lake Castle Hume. Mature trees, strategic bunkering, the two lakes and undulating, fast greens provide the golfing interest in a serene setting with gorgeous views.
Narin Portnoo
Gil Hanse has made further improvements to this already top class links that make Narin & Portnoo unmissable on any visit to northwest Ireland. As natural a links as to be found anywhere, Narin & Portnoo is all about the dramatic holes with superb views in high dunes that overlook Gweebarra Bay.
Portsalon
Old Tom Morris designed the original layout at Portsalon while working on nearby Rosapenna. Laid out beside one of the best beaches in the world, this is another authentic links in the classic mould. Portsalon, like Rosapenna Old, has been updated by Pat Ruddy and remains a classic test of links golf.
Rosapenna Old Tom
The Old Tom Morris course at Rosapenna now consists of 9 brand new holes created by Pat Ruddy that lead to the original 'Valley holes' created by Old Tom Morris in 1892. It is these holes that are undoubtedly the highlight of the round but there is no question of any weakness in the new holes. A first rate links course.
Rosapenna Sandy Hills
Pat Ruddy's stunning creation through the high dunes at Rosapenna is a challenging links course that seduces and charms most golfers. Sandy Hills will reward straight, accurate hitting from the tee, and clever approach play avoiding the many dangers lurking by the greens. Sandy Hills is a sublime test in a gorgeous location.
Rosapenna St Patricks
St. Patricks is the newest course at Rosapenna by U.S. designer Tom Doak who has taken the existing 36 holes on the St. Patricks site and created a single links course of the modern variety - spectacular location, playable golf course. Sure to divide opinion, St Patricks is a must play.
Slieve Russell
Slieve Russell is a first rate golf challenge built on the drumlin and lake speckled countryside of County Cavan. Several streams, Lough Rud, and strategically placed bunkers augment the stately old trees that line most of the holes. Slieve Russell earns consistent praise for the attention to detail and general condition of the course.
