Day 1 - Gort Golf Club
Meet with Tailor-Made Golf Tour representative or chauffeur on arrival. Transfer to Gort Golf Club. Play this interesting Chritsy O'Connor Jnr. challenge on the edge of the Burren. Overnight in Gort.
Day 2 - Athlone Golf Club
Transfer to the principal midland town of Athlone. Play Athlone Golf Club, an old & mature course that has recently been developed into one of the finest tests of golf in the midlands. Overnight in Athlone.
Day 3 - Esker Hills Golf Club
40 minutes towards Tullamore and one of the top ranked courses in midland Ireland at Esker Hills. David Walsh of the Sunday Times wrote "if you are a golfer, never ever pass this place". Overnight in Athlone.
Day 4 - Glasson Golf Club
Just northeast of Athlone is the pretty village of Glasson and the magnificent Glasson Golf & Country Hotel on the western shores of Lough Ree. Another Christy Jnr. masterpiece, Glasson makes full use of stunning lake vistas while presenting a stern golfing challenge. Overnight Athlone.
Day 5 - Portumna Golf Club
Transfer southwest following the River Shannon to the town of Portumna. Portumna Golf Club is located on old estate grounds and is another superb parkland test. Another course to have been developed in recent years to provide a layout and challenge that matches the best. Overnight in Portumna.
Day 6 - East Clare Club
Today's journey to Ennis is interrupted by a round at the wonderful East Clare Golf Club. Set amidst rolling hills of the east Clare countryside, in a peaceful rural location, East Clare combines undulating greens, lakes, bunkers and trees and an invariably stiff brreze to provide another excellent test of golf. Continue to the county town of Ennis.
Day 7 - Woodstock Golf Club
Also designed by Arthur Spring (East Clare), Woodstock is located on the outskirts of Ennis Town. Woodstock features its own 'Amen Corner', a series of three holes where a large lake is very much in evidence. The finishing holes from the thirteenth are as tough a challenge as you are likely to find. Overnight Ennis.
Day 8 - Departure from Shannon Airport
Transfer to airport for onward departure.
